I am filled with pride and joy to serve the JCI community as the National President of JCI Bangladesh for the year of 2024. I sincerely believe that this year will be filled with many achievements and have a tremendous positive impact for JCI Bangladesh. I feel proud to see the energetic team members of JCI Dhaka West. The team this year is very dynamic and filled with enthusiasm which will undoubtedly bring about massive change in the society.

2024 is still seeing a continuation of the pandemic that has hit us in 2020 and additionally the Russia-Ukrain war has an impact on the economy. I am glad to see that all the local chapters and their members are working to create sustainable solutions to mitigate the harms caused by this pandemic. We are all working towards a more inclusive society, and that is how JCI is different from other non-profit organizations; we take initiatives to solve local and global challenges. With more than a one-time donation or service opportunity, we focus on sustainable impacts locally and globally. It only takes one active citizen to change the world and today we are becoming that active citizen.

As internationally thinking young individuals, we all have rights and responsibilities. We aim to find and we achieve our targeted solutions to local issues which benefit our communities, our world and our future. Embracing new ideas, collaboration and diversity, we have the passion and courage to address the critical challenges of our time. Despite of the pandemic, JCI Bangladesh has taken many initiatives to keep their members engaged and make meaningful contributions towards the society. JCI Dhaka West has always been a strong pillar to drive national activities. We have seen tremendous efforts from the local organization earlier and I believe 2024 will be no exception under the leadership of SM Belal Uddin Bhai.

This year JCI Bangladesh will organize many more new events along with the signature events that has been running over the years. I truly believe that we all will play a crucial role in making all of these events successful. My best wishes to all the members. I am sure this year the members will take JCI Bangladesh to newer heights. We’ll think big, dream bigger and do the biggest!
