Bangladesh Positive & JCI Dhaka West has jointly organized a distinct event called as Amar Prothom Boimela (My First Book Fair). ‘Amar Boi’ has started its journey to inculcate the habit of reading books. The international youth network Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka West and Protyush’s Jante Hole Porte Hobe both are jointly working on this project.
The journey of “Amar Boi” started with the setting up of a book corner at Modern Childs Educare School in Maghbazar, Dhaka. The book corner was inaugurated by Rakhi Jain, JCI World Vice President for Asia Pacific. At the time of the ceremony JCI Bangladesh National Vice President Nazmul Hossain Sabuj, JCI Dhaka West Local President Md. Altamis Nabil, JCI Dhaka West Local Vice President and Project Director Md. Mahmudur Rahman and the project lead and Protyush’s founder Tanvir Hasan was present there.
In addition to the unveiling of the book corner, a competition was arranged among the students of that school. A total of 18 prizes were awarded to the winners in four categories.
